Shopify Design
Design that converts
What we do
Brand-led design, built around how your customers actually buy.
Good Shopify design isn't about how the store looks. It's about how it performs. We combine UX research, conversion strategy, and visual craft to build shopping experiences that feel right and drive results.
Every engagement starts with understanding your customers, your data, and your commercial goals. The design that follows is informed by all three.

Design services
UX Research
We map your customer journey before touching a design tool. User interviews, heuristic audits, and competitor analysis to understand where you're losing people and why.
Figma Prototyping
High-fidelity interactive prototypes reviewed with your team before a line of code is written. Every component, state, and edge case signed off upfront.
Design Systems
A component library that scales with your brand. Consistent tokens, documented patterns, and a shared language between your design and development teams.
Conversion Optimisation
Data-informed design decisions. We review your analytics, identify drop-off points, and design with the explicit goal of improving conversion rate.
Every project includes
What's built in
Brand alignment
Your store should feel unmistakably yours. We work closely with your brand guidelines, or help you develop them, so every design decision reinforces your identity.
Mobile-first
Over 70% of Shopify traffic is mobile. Every layout is designed mobile-first and tested across devices before moving to desktop breakpoints.
Accessibility considered
Colour contrast, focus states, keyboard navigation: we build inclusive experiences that work for every customer, not just most of them.
Developer handover
Annotated, organised Figma files with specs, interactions, and component notes. Your dev team (or ours) can build exactly what was designed.
Why it matters
What you get
Design that converts
Pretty isn't enough. Every design decision is tied back to your commercial goals: product page layout, CTA placement, cart UX, all optimised to drive revenue.
No guessing
We validate design decisions with real data. Heatmaps, session recordings, and customer interviews inform every layout, so you're not redesigning based on opinion.
Built for your team
The design system we build isn't a one-time deliverable. It's structured so your marketing team can move fast, and your dev team can build without back-and-forth.
Consistent brand
From homepage to checkout confirmation, every touchpoint is consistent. A cohesive brand experience builds trust, and trust drives repeat purchase.
Faster to market
Figma-first means you can review, iterate, and sign off before build begins. No expensive rework mid-development.
Measurable outcomes
We track what matters: conversion rate, average order value, bounce rate. Post-launch, we review the numbers and iterate on what the data tells us.
How we work
Our process
Discovery & audit
We review your existing store analytics, customer data, and competitor landscape. A structured audit identifies exactly where the current experience is costing you conversions.
UX strategy
Customer journey mapping, information architecture, and content hierarchy, all before a single pixel is placed. The strategy informs every design decision that follows.
Wireframing
Low-fidelity wireframes establish layout and flow. Fast to iterate, easy to challenge. We align on structure before investing in visual design.
High-fidelity design
Branded, pixel-perfect Figma designs with all states, interactions, and responsive breakpoints. Reviewed with your team in collaborative sessions.
Prototype & review
Interactive Figma prototypes that behave like the real thing. Stakeholder sign-off before any development begins.
Handover & support
Annotated design files, component documentation, and a handover session with your development team. We stay available through build to answer questions.
FAQs
Common questions
Do you design and build, or design only?
Both. We can deliver design-only engagements with full Figma handover, or handle the entire design-to-build process in-house. Many clients come to us for the full service: design, development, and ongoing optimisation.
What if we already have a brand?
We work with your existing brand guidelines. Our job is to translate your brand into a Shopify experience that's consistent, compelling, and built to convert, not to redesign your identity from scratch.
How long does a design project take?
A focused redesign of core pages (homepage, collection, PDP, cart) typically runs 4–6 weeks. Full store redesigns with UX research run 6–10 weeks. Timeline depends on scope, feedback cycles, and how quickly decisions get made.
Do you do A/B testing?
Yes. For clients on retainers, we run structured A/B tests on design variants, measuring conversion impact before rolling out changes store-wide. For project-based work, we design with best-practice conversion principles and review post-launch.
Can we use our own development team?
Absolutely. We produce thorough, developer-ready Figma files with specs, interaction notes, and component documentation. Many clients take our designs to their in-house or offshore dev teams.
Ready to redesign?
Let's talk.
We've redesigned Shopify stores for brands that needed more than a theme refresh. If conversion rate, brand consistency, or customer experience is the problem, that's exactly what we solve.
